Why We Fight
We fight for our mom, wife, sister, daughter and best friend whose life was cut tragically short due to a traumatic brain injury. We fight to keep her legacy alive. We fight because there is still so little known about the brain and its healing. We fight to help others currently battling to overcome a traumatic brain injury. We fight for others we have lost too soon. We fight in the hope that someday through medical advancements no one else will ever experience such deep pain and heartache.
In Loving Memory of Blanca Bollom
Our beloved friend and Secretary of the HeadStrong Brain Injury Foundation, Blanca Bollom, passed away suddenly on February 19, 2019, due to a ruptured brain aneurysm -- which resulted in a traumatic brain injury. Blanca was such a bright light who left a lasting legacy on her family, friends and community. She was passionate about HeadStrong and our mission. Our hearts are simply broken, and we are more driven than ever to change the outcome of traumatic brain injuries. We love you, Blanca.
THE BUTTERFLY BLANKET PROJECT
Give comfort and warmth (also known as super snuggly monogrammed HeadStrong leopard fleece blankets!) to those fighting traumatic brain injuries and their families as they spend their nights at Memorial Hermann and Texas Children's Hospitals.

All blankets will be personally delivered and all proceeds will benefit HeadStrong Brain Injury Foundation.
